TRAINING

My internship was completed at Valkenberg Psychiatric Hospital, Red Cross War Memorial Children’s Hospital and Groote Schuur Hospital, as well as Dr Abdurahman Community Health Clinic. These provided broad-ranging experience in assessing, diagnosing and treating adults, adolescents and children.

My community service year with the Department of Health, KwaZulu-Natal, provided further experience with emergency first-responders and primary level mental health care.
